directions to the sanctuary of the rose
Your GPS may take you a more remote way once you get near the Cascade turnoff and some cell services do not work well in our mountain valley.
Follow Hagerman up the small hill. The Sanctuary of the Rose is at 4615 Hagerman Ave., on the RIGHT side at the top of the hill. Look for the cinnamon colored adobe house with the semi-circular driveway (see below photo.) Check in at the main house on your right as you drive into the driveway. The Sanctuary is on the left. Park by the guest parking sign.
From I-25 in Colorado Springs, EXIT at Hwy 24 West (Cimarron Street/Exit 141.)
Turn WEST onto Highway 24/Cimarron towards the mountains. Stay on Highway 24 for approximately 9 miles until you see the signs for Cascade and the Pikes Peak Highway and North Pole.
Take a RIGHT at the traffic light in Cascade onto Severy Ave (not a left towards Pikes Peak.)
MERGE onto the frontage road then turn RIGHT onto the first street, Topeka Ave.
Turn LEFT at the second street, Hagerman Ave.
